A whine by your ear at night, and bites as soon as it gets dark. Mosquitoes breed in standing water, and a barrel lid or plant saucer holding a little water can produce a new batch, so mosquito control starts there.
We find the standing water and treat it to stop the larvae, then treat the shaded surfaces where mosquitoes rest in your garden, entrance and air shaft. If the source is close by, like a canal or drainage ditch, treatment cuts the numbers by a lot but will not stop them for good, and we will tell you that honestly.
Signs of mosquitoes
Bites as night falls
Red, itchy bumps on your arms and legs that get worse at sunset and during the night.
Whining around your face
Mosquitoes are drawn to human breath and body heat, so you hear them close to your face when you go to sleep.
Standing water nearby
A plant saucer, a dripping air conditioner, a barrel, an uncovered drain, or a decorative pond where the water never gets changed.
Tiny worms in the water
If you see something like small worms darting around in water, those are mosquito larvae.
Mosquitoes on shaded walls
During the day you find them resting on walls and under trees in shady spots.
Where do mosquitoes breed?
A female mosquito lays her eggs on the surface of standing water or on the rim of a container that could fill up. A small amount of water is enough, so a plant saucer or a blocked air conditioner drain can cause as much trouble as a large pond.
That is why an apartment on a high floor can still have mosquitoes. Unused bathrooms, water basins and roof openings are all places we check. In villas and gardens, the usual spots are irrigation water, decorative fountains and basins.
Mosquitoes do more than bite. Some species carry diseases, so if someone at home develops a high fever after a lot of bites, see a doctor.

How does mosquito control work?
1
We learn about the place
We ask about your garden, your roof and the number of floors, and whether there is a canal or drainage ditch nearby. Then we give you the price and the time.
2
We find the water sources
The technician looks for breeding spots around the house. Any water that can be removed, we ask you to remove before we even think about using a product.
3
Treating standing water
Water that cannot be removed, such as a drain or a fixed basin, gets a suitable product to stop the larvae.
4
Treating surfaces
We treat the shaded surfaces where mosquitoes rest in the entrance, air shaft and garden.
5
We write it down and follow up
The receipt lists the product name, the treated areas, and what you need to keep doing yourself, such as emptying plant saucers.
How to cut down mosquitoes starting tomorrow
Empty plant saucers once a week, cover barrels, clean the air conditioner drain, and change the water in fountains or decorative ponds regularly. If your home opens onto a garden, fit screens on the windows.
Bug zappers, incense and mosquito coils kill a few or keep a few away, but they do nothing about the ones coming out of the water. And do not leave a coil burning next to a sleeping child in a closed room.
Safety with children and pets
While surfaces are being treated, children and pets stay away until they dry. The technician tells you how long, and it is written on the receipt.
If you have a fish tank, bees, or vegetables in the garden, tell us from the start so we can decide which areas to leave untreated or how to treat them.
Everything is in writing before we start
With mosquito control, the worry is promises nobody wrote down. This is the sheet the technician hands you.

Questions about mosquitoes
I live on a high floor. How did mosquitoes get up here?
There are a few ways: the air shaft, a water tank, a plant saucer or a dripping air conditioner. They also ride up with you in the elevator or come up the stairs. A high floor does not fully protect you.
Will the mosquitoes be completely gone after the visit?
There will be a lot fewer once the water problem is dealt with. If you have a drainage ditch or canal close by, mosquitoes will keep coming from outside, and we will tell you which spots to close up.
Isn't spraying the room enough?
No, because spray only kills the mosquitoes resting there at the time. As long as the water is there, more will come, which is why we start at the source.
I have vegetables in my garden. Will you treat it?
Yes, just tell us about them when you book. We work out which areas to treat and stay away from the vegetables, and from any bees you keep.
Do you treat resort villages and large gardens?
Yes, we do. Call us, tell us the size of the area and the water sources on site, and we will agree with you on how to do the work.
How long is the warranty?
The warranty is 5 years, written on the receipt with its terms, and it depends on the areas treated.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the place, the garden and the number of water sources, and you get the price by phone. It is written down before we start, and it does not go up after you agree.
