How do we get rid of flies?

First we find the breeding source, such as trash bins, waste or dropped food, and tell you how to deal with it. Then we treat the surfaces where flies land and add bait or traps to suit the place. For restaurants and shops, we pick a time that does not disrupt your work.

Signs of a fly problem

  • Lots of flies, no matter how often you shoo them

The same numbers coming back every day mean the source is very close to you.

  • Tiny black dots

These are fly droppings on walls, light bulbs, ceilings and other places they land.

  • Small white maggots

Larvae in trash, behind bins or in animal waste. That is definitely a breeding source.

  • Tiny flies around fruit

Fruit flies are small and come from spoiled fruit or residue in a drain. They need a different treatment from larger flies.

Where do flies come from?

A fly lays its eggs in any decaying organic matter: trash, animal waste, food, organic material in the garden. In warm weather the life cycle runs very fast, which is why the numbers can grow in a short time.

In homes, the usual causes are a trash bin with no lid, animals nearby, or fertilizer on plants. In restaurants and shops, the source tends to be the trash area behind the shop and food scraps under the equipment.

Flies are more than a nuisance. They carry on their legs whatever they last landed on, and they can transfer it to your food. That is why in places that handle food, the problem goes beyond how it looks.

Where we look

  • Trash bins and the area around them
  • Gardens and fertilizer piles
  • Animal and bird areas
  • Behind kitchen equipment
  • Around doors and windows
  • Light bulbs and ceilings

How does fly control work?

  1. 1

    We learn about the place

Is it a home, a restaurant or a farm? Are the flies big or small? Where do you see them most? Then we give you the price and the time.

  2. 2

    We find the source

The technician checks around the place for breeding spots and tells you what needs to be removed or covered.

  3. 3

    Treating landing surfaces

Surfaces where flies rest, such as walls and outdoor ceilings, get treated away from food.

  4. 4

    Bait or traps

Depending on the place, we add bait or traps in areas away from food, children and pets.

  5. 5

We write it down and follow up

The receipt lists the product name, where each bait was placed, and cleaning instructions, and we stay in touch with you.

Ways to repel flies: what actually works?

Essential oils, vinegar and hanging bags might keep flies away for a while, but the flies will stay around the source. An aerosol spray kills only the ones in front of you and leaves a smell close to your food.

What really makes a difference: a tight lid on the trash, emptying it daily in summer, washing the bin, screens on the windows, and wiping up dropped food right away. If you have a dog or birds, clear their waste every day.

Safety with children and pets

Food surfaces and kitchen utensils are not treated, and they get covered before any work near them. Bait goes in secured boxes, away from children and pets.

In a restaurant or food shop, we agree on a suitable time and tell you what to cover and when you can go back to work. If you keep bees or birds on site, let us know.

Questions about flies

Will the flies go away completely?

If the source is on your property, there will be far fewer once it is removed. If they come from somewhere nearby that is not yours, like an animal pen or a dump, you will still get some flies, and we will tell you which spots to close up.

Where do these tiny flies come from?

Usually from spoiled fruit, residue in the kitchen drain, or a trash bag. Check those spots and throw out any spoiled fruit.

Do you treat restaurants and hotels?

Yes. We agree on a time that does not affect your work, and we stay away from areas with uncovered food.

Do you treat farms?

Call us and tell us what kind of farm it is and which animals are on it, because that changes what we can do.

How long is the warranty?

The warranty is 5 years, written on the receipt with its terms, and it depends on the source of the flies and the areas treated.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the type of place and its size, and you get the price by phone. It is written down before we start, and it does not go up after you agree.
